Benefits of the Orgasm Shot
Platelet rich fibrin (PRF) injections have been used to treat medical conditions including arthritis and ligament/tendon sprains and tears. The orgasm shot is one of the first PRF applications used to treat female sexual dysfunction.
Platelets can help revitalize dysfunctional tissues through a process called neovascularization. PRF can increase libido, vaginal sensitivity, lubrication, and climax strength.

The orgasm shot is ideal for women who are in good general health and experience dysfunction during the normal phases of intercourse. This might include:

- Pain associated with vaginal intercourse
- Weak orgasms or orgasmic dysfunction (inability to climax)
The orgasm shot is also an effective way to treat urinary incontinence. If you pee a little when you laugh, cough, or sneeze, the orgasm shot may be able to reduce this embarrassing condition.

Techniques
What happens during the procedure?
The orgasm shot is a non-surgical procedure that takes approximately 30 minutes at our Mishawaka medical spa.
The first step is a blood extraction from the patient’s arm. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate red blood cells from platelet rich fibrin (PRF). Once separated, the PRF is extracted and put into a small syringe.
A topical anesthetic is applied to the genitals to reduce discomfort. The PRF is then injected into the anterior walls of the vagina and the clitoris.
What is the recovery like?
Recovery after the orgasm shot is quick and shouldn’t interfere with normal daily activities. Exercise can resume in 24 hours and sexual activity in a few days.
Full results can be expected within three months of the procedure. Some patients report improvements right away. Others experience changes within two or three weeks after the procedure.
