Votiva is a safe and comfortable treatment that can address both internal and external vaginal health issues without surgery. It is a non-surgical, FDA-cleared treatment that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to gently heat and stimulate collagen production in the vaginal and vulvar tissues. Techniques

Treatment Process

No anesthesia is typically required, but a topical numbing cream may be applied for added comfort. You’ll lie comfortably in a reclined position, similar to a pelvic exam.

The licensed provider will use a small handheld Votiva device (either FormaV for internal tissue or FractoraV for external tissue).
The device delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy to gently heat the tissue.
Treatment typically lasts 15–30 minutes per session.
Patients often describe the sensation as warmth with mild pressure—most find it very tolerable.

Aftercare and Mild Side Effects:

Most patients tolerate Votiva well, but some may experience temporary side effects such as:

There’s no downtime—you can return to normal activities the same day.
You may be advised to avoid sexual intercourse, tampons, and hot tubs for 24–72 hours, depending on your provider’s guidance.
Mild swelling or discharge may occur temporarily.
Mild itching or burning sensation
