Case Notes
This is an arm lift case performed on a 43-year-old woman weighing 146 lbs. Both photos are taken from the back with arms raised and flexed, giving you a clear view of the upper arm contour from shoulder to elbow. An arm lift removes excess skin along the inner upper arm; the extent of tissue removed is planned around each patient's anatomy and the amount of skin present. Four months after surgery, the upper arms appear notably tighter along their full length, with the contour sitting closer to the underlying muscle. Residual scarring continues to fade over the months following surgery, so what you see at four months isn't the final scar appearance. Individual results vary.
