Perlane® Dermal Filler

Like Restylane®, Perlane® is based on hyaluronic acid, but has a higher concentration of acid.

This makes Perlane® more effective for deeper wrinkles and larger facial folds. Restylane® does a better job for fine lines and can also be used to prolong Perlane® results.

Perlane® provides volume to aging skin, which lacks hyaluronic acid. It is biodegradable and is eventually absorbed harmlessly by the body. Results of a Perlane® treatment last usually last for six to eight months.

The most popular uses for Perlane® are:

  • Lip enlargement, or lip augmentation
  • Firming up the lip border by filling in tiny lines
  • Filling cheek depressions
  • Reducing acne scars
  • Smoothing smile lines and smoker’s lines
  • Reducing crow’s feet
  • Filling in worry lines

Sometimes Perlane® is also used to fill in the hollows beneath the eyes, smooth out jowls, and correct facial depressions which appeared after weight loss.
